Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: Scunthorpe
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £88.94 - £104.84 per day

GSL Education is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within lively and welcoming primary schools in the Scunthorpe area.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting teachers in delivering dynamic, engaging lessons
Providing tailored support to pupils of varying abilities, including those with special educational needs
Encouraging a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and a love of learning
Please note: Strong behaviour management skills are essential for this role.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience supporting children in a school environment
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous, but not required
A sound knowledge of the National Curriculum
A warm, patient, and encouraging personality
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
