£93 - £105 per day
Secondary Mainstream School
Temporary to Permanent contract
Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 3:30pm
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Bolton.
The successful candidate will support students across KS3 and KS4, helping to ensure every young person can reach their full potential — academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
Provide targeted support to students in and out of the classroom, including small group and 1:1 interventions.
Work alongside teaching staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Support students with additional needs to access the curriculum effectively.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through consistent and supportive relationships.
Assist in preparing and adapting learning materials and classroom resources.
Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Requirements
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience supporting young people in an educational setting (secondary experience desirable).
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to working with students.
