Salary: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed TA to support children’s learning and development in a nurturing school environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children, a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent), and a genuine enthusiasm for helping pupils thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
Work with small groups or 1:1 with pupils, including those with SEND
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning environments
Help pupils stay engaged, on task, and supported emotionally and academically
Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress
Support with classroom displays, resource preparation, and general administrative tasks
Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes when required
Requirements
Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) – essential
Previous experience working in a school or early years setting
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
