Job Description
We are working on behalf of a lovely Private Nursery in the NG10 area who are looking to appoint several permanent Level 3 Nursery Nurses. This is a full time role, working 40 hours a week.
You'll be working in a fantastic, fast paced, supportive, private Nursery with pupils aged 0-5. You'll be joining an established team with strong Nursery & Area Managers supporting you in the role and with career progression.
Interviews are being held over the next week.
Duties
* Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, focusing on the developmental milestones of each child.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices, ensuring a structured environment.
* Communicate effectively with children in English, using age-appropriate language to encourage their verbal skills.
* Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns regarding their development.
* Maintain a clean and safe nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Demonstrate leadership by guiding junior staff members and supporting their professional development.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and overall quality of care.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to connect with children on an individual level.
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
