Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our dedicated team for flexible supply work in Leeds.
This is your chance to play a pivotal role in the lives of young children, guiding them through the crucial Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). As a supply Nursery Nurse, you'll enjoy the variety of working in different nursery settings across Leeds, bringing your professional skills and nurturing energy to each one.
What you will be doing:
Playing a key role in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that follow the EYFS curriculum.
Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive and learn through play.
Leading small group activities and taking initiative in the daily routines of the nursery.
Building positive and trusted relationships with children, parents, and staff, providing feedback on a child's development.
Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress, contributing to their learning journals.
What we are looking for:
A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (e.g., NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3).
Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar early years role.
A thorough and practical understanding of the EYFS framework.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
A patient, creative, and enthusiastic approach to childcare.
An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or a willingness to apply for one).
