The role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Level 3 Play Leader t to join a Primary school in Leeds to start ASAP/Sept 2025 on a Part-Time basis. The ideal candidate will preferably hold a relevant level 3 qualification and will have recent experience in a Primary School. Your role will be to enhance the children’s enjoyment of play, promote good behaviour, organise/lead activities and teach children how to play. This may include setting up team games, encouraging appropriate use of equipment and promoting fair play. You will work in the school to provide wrap around care in breakfast club and after school club - your hours will be 07:30 - 09:00 and 15:00 - 18:00 daily. This is a long term role.

The desired Teaching Assistant will:
- Have experience working with Primary School aged children
- Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of support staff
- Have experience of supporting the development and implementation of individual behaviour/SEND action plans for targeted pupils who need support
