About the Role/Setting:
A welcoming and nurturing early years setting in South Harrow is seeking a passionate Level 3 Practitioner to join their team ASAP. This setting provides a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where young children can thrive. The nursery focuses on supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through a play-based, child-centred curriculum. Staff work closely with families to promote learning, wellbeing, and confidence, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.
The setting is committed to safeguarding, positive behaviour, and personal development, helping children foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning from an early age. As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education, making a positive impact on the children's early development.
Job Responsibilities:
Support children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities.
Work closely with the team to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
Promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Assist in the planning and delivery of educational activities that encourage curiosity and independence.
Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children at all times.
Support the assessment and tracking of children's progress, contributing to reports and updates for parents.
Qualifications/Experience:
Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (essential).
Previous experience working in an early years setting (preferred).
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
Right to work in the UK.
