About the Role/Setting
Teach Plus are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Practitioner to join a welcoming and nurturing early years setting in South Harrow. This full-time position is to start as soon as possible and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children.
The nursery provides a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can explore, learn, and thrive. With a strong focus on social, emotional, and cognitive development, the Level 3 Practitioner will help deliver a play-based, child-centred curriculum that encourages independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
The setting works closely with families to promote wellbeing and confidence, ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential. Safeguarding, positive behaviour, and personal development are at the heart of everything the nursery does.
Job Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will:
Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Provide a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure continuity and consistency of care and learning.
Observe and record children's progress, contributing to developmental assessments and planning next steps.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety at all times.
Promote independence, creativity, and confidence through play-based exploration and positive interactions.
Qualifications/Experience
Full and relevant Level 3 Practitioner qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Experience working in an early years or nursery setting.
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a caring, proactive attitude.
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
Right to work in the UK.
