TimePlan Education is recruiting an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join one of our supportive and forward-thinking partner secondary schools. This role is ideal for a qualified Level 3 practitioner who is confident supporting KS3 and KS4 students in and out of the classroom.
Role Overview:
You will work alongside teachers to deliver effective classroom support, provide targeted interventions and help maintain a positive learning environment. You will support a wide range of learners including those with SEND, EAL and those needing emotional or behavioural guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality support within KS3/KS4 lessons
Lead small-group interventions (literacy, numeracy, revision)
Offer 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
Assist with planning, preparing and reviewing learning activities
Support behaviour management and promote positive routines
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
Contribute to EHCP targets and progress tracking where neededWhat we're looking for:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) required
Experience supporting students in a secondary school setting
Strong behaviour management skills
Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
Confident, proactive and able to use initiative
