Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary (Mainstream & SEN)

Location: Rochdale
Contract: Full-time / Temporary / Temp-to-Perm / Supply

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Rochdale from September 2026. Roles are available in both mainstream and SEN settings, offering a variety of opportunities to support pupils with different needs and abilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified TA who is looking for flexible work across multiple settings, or a long-term placement within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  * Support pupils in both classroom and small group settings

  * Provide targeted support for learning, behaviour, and emotional development

  * Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

  * Work with pupils with a range of needs, including SEN and SEMH

  * Support classroom management and daily routines

  * Help create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment

  * Adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs

About You

  * Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

  * Experience working in either primary or secondary settings

  * Experience supporting SEN or SEMH pupils is desirable but not essential

  * Confident, patient, and adaptable approach

  * Strong communication and teamwork skills

  * Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
