Job Description
A welcoming and vibrant primary school in the heart of Sandwell is working exclusively with Applebough Education to appoint enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join their nursery team for the new academic year.
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and passionate Teaching Assistants to support children aged 3–4 in a nurturing and engaging early years environment. You’ll play a vital role in fostering a positive start to education, supporting the class teacher in delivering a creative and stimulating EYFS curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging activities
*
Provide one-to-one and small group support, adapting to children’s individual needs
*
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
*
Support children’s learning through play and structured activities
*
Help maintain accurate observations and contribute to learning journals
Requirements:
*
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
*
Prior experience in a nursery or EYFS setting
*
A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach
*
Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
