As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important part in supporting both teachers and pupils in the classroom. Your role will involve working one-to-one, with small groups, and across the wider class to ensure every child can succeed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) who is eager to contribute to primary education in Chesterfield.
Key Duties:
* Support children's academic and personal development across the curriculum.
* Provide extra support for pupils with additional needs (EBD, MLD, ADHD, ASD desirable).
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
* Work with colleagues to follow individual plans, including EHCPs.
Candidate Requirements:
✔ A recognised Level 3 qualification (CACHE / T Level / equivalent).
✔ Prior experience in a school setting, ideally with SEN involvement.
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✔ A flexible, positive, and reliable approach.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
