Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Warrington Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for permanent placement) Salary: Pay-to-Scale, based on experience and qualifications A supportive primary school in the Warrington area is seeking a skilled and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, both in and out of the classroom. Assist in planning and adapting learning activities to suit individual learning styles. Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere that promotes emotional and academic growth. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to implement personalised learning plans. Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and independence. Support with behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation techniques. We’re looking for someone who: Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Has an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one). Has previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting. Communicates clearly and professionally with staff, pupils, and families. Is flexible, resilient, and committed to inclusive education.
