Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant ready to make a real impact in the classroom?
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Rotherham is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and classroom activities.
Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
Help manage behaviour positively and effectively.
Assist with planning, preparing resources, and adapting materials for learning needs.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Track and report on pupil progress as directed by the teacher or SENCO.
Contribute to the overall well-being and development of all pupils.
Requirements:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience supporting children in a primary or early years setting.
A caring, flexible, and proactive approach to classroom support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to inclusive education.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
