LGV/HGV DRIVER - CLASS 1 ADR ENVIROMENTAL REQUIRED FOR LEADING LOGISTICS AND MATERIALS MANAGEMENT SERVICES COMPANY
TITLE: LGV/HGV DRIVER - CLASS 1 ADR
SALARY: £34k

HOURS: Mon-Fri 45 Hours per week with 45 mins paid break per day - Must be flexible

ROLE: LGV/HGV DRIVER - CLASS 1 ADR
You will be an experienced LGV/HGV Class 1 Driver with Tanks ADR Licence and will be responsible for carrying out driving duties safely and efficiently, including operating waste vacuum road tankers and curtain-sided vehicles. The role involves long-distance driving with overnight stays. You will be expected to handle and transport various hazardous materials, operate curtain-sided vehicles, and inspect and maintain associated equipment such as pumps, valves, tanks, hoses, and couplings. Accurate completion of customer and regulatory paperwork is essential, as is ensuring all activities comply with company procedures and legal regulations.
EXPERIENCE: LGV/HGV DRIVER - CLASS 1 ADR
You will hold a Class 1 LGV Licence, ADR License, Tanks Dangerous Goods by Road Certificate, and a Digi Tachograph Card. You will have experience in road tanker operations, specifically in the safe transport and handling of flammable, corrosive, and toxic materials. A thorough understanding of waste documentation and special waste handling is essential, along with familiarity with safety procedures related to tanker and waste operations. COSHH awareness is a desirable qualification.
