Life Sciences Sector Development Lead Across Greater Manchester Up to £50,000  Full-time, Permanent The Role: Are you passionate about driving growth and collaboration in Greater Manchester’s Life Sciences sector? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take a leading role in developing partnerships, strengthening the regional Life Sciences ecosystem, and supporting innovation and business growth across the region. As the Life Sciences Sector Development Lead, you’ll build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders including local authorities, universities, business partners, and sector networks. You’ll act as a regional ambassador, helping Life Sciences businesses access tailored support, identify opportunities, and contribute to Greater Manchester’s long-term economic development plans. Duties: Lead the development of an active Life Sciences network of stakeholders, partners, and support organisations. Drive collaboration with regional partners and key players in the field. Identify and engage businesses across the Life Sciences sector to access growth programmes and support. Research and map market data to inform sector intelligence and future development opportunities. Promote the organisation’s services within the Life Sciences community and build strong visibility across the region. Represent Greater Manchester at events, workshops, and meetings, showcasing innovation and partnership opportunities. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships that align with regional sector development plans.Required Skills: Strong background in stakeholder management, partnership development, or business engagement. Embedded knowledge of the Greater Manchester Life Sciences ecosystem. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Confident working with senior contacts across public, private, and academic sectors. Ability to plan and manage workload independently while achieving agreed targets.
