Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Lifeskills and English Tutor to support two children with autism and high anxiety in their home setting. Your role will involve delivering English (Level 2) and life skills lessons tailored to the children’s individual needs, fostering both academic growth and personal development. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact in a calm and supportive learning environment.
Required Experience and Qualifications:

Experience tutoring or teaching English (ideally to Level 2 standard)

Understanding of life skills curriculum and its application
*
Experience working with children with autism and/or anxiety
*
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
*
Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Tell Me About the Role:
This tutoring role is based in Coventry and requires you to work directly with two students in their home. The children are eager to learn but require a tutor who is sensitive to their emotional and behavioural needs. You'll need to adapt your teaching style to ensure lessons are both accessible and engaging, while also providing reassurance and structure.
