Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
OTE: £65,000 - £70,000
Benefits: New company van + travel time paid door-to-door (1.5 x rate, c. £15,000/year), attractive callout rates, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, structured progression towards NVQ 4 or management, private pension scheme.
REClifts is now recruiting for a qualified Lift Engineer to join a well-established Lift Engineering company that will support your career development and progression.
Commutable from: Sutton, Epson, Wimbledon, Croydon, Brixton, Weybridge, Kingston-upon-Thames, Chessington, Streatham, Bromley
Lift Engineer Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of passenger lifts across the South London area
Respond promptly to emergency callouts and complete effective fault diagnosis
Complete both minor and major repairs to lift equipment including motors, door gear, safety edges, valve seals, autodiallers, etc.
Work independently across a designated route and ensure high standards of service delivery
Accurately report any equipment faults and liaise with the Service or Repairs Manager for escalated support when required
Communicate professionally with clients and residents while on-site, maintaining a positive company image
Adhere to company health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with lift industry regulations at all timesIdeal Lift Engineer Candidate:
Industry-relevant qualification - NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering - Essential
Full, clean UK driving licence - Essential
3+ years of experience working on UK passenger lifts - Essential
Proven experience in servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across multiple lift manufacturers.Apply to this Trainee Engineer position:
