Lift Service Engineer
Westminster, London
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Benefits:
Travel time door to door generating £15,000 per year
Stand-by money for call-out week is £110.
Call out £70 per call on weekdays, £90 at weekends & Bank Holidays
New Van - personal use is allowed, walking route also available.
Specialist Tools Provided by Lift Company
All Expenses Paid including fuel, parking
25 Days Holiday + 8 Days Bank Holiday
Structured Progression Opportunities to NVQ 4 or Management courses. REClifts is now recruiting for a Lift Engineer (service, repair, call-out) to cover a geographical patch across the Central London area. This lift engineering company will also pay for an NVQ 4 qualification upon completing a satisfactory notice period and upon request if this is desired by the new recruit.
Ideal Lift Engineer:
Industry relevant qualification - NVQ 3 or J5 / J25 / HNC equivalent - Essential
Full, clean driving licence - Essential
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of commercial experience as a passenger Lift Engineer
You are currently living a commutable distance away from the Westminster area or you are willing to relocate to satisfy the geography of this specialist role.Responsibilities of a Lift Engineer:
Participate in a relaxed call-out rota.
Efficiently manage your own service route.
Competent in completing both minor & major repairs on passenger lifts.
Carry out the electrical & mechanical maintenance on a range of passenger lift manufacturers
Report service/repairs/defects to encourage improvements in lift equipment and safety.
Complete maintenance schedules in accordance with agreed Service ContractsCommutable from: Westminster, Mayfair, Victoria, Kensington, Notting Hill, Chelsea, Soho, Shoreditch, Canary Wharf
