Job Description
Position: Service & Repair Engineer (London-based)
We’re looking for an experienced Service, Repair, and Callout Engineer to join our team. This is a field-based role covering London, with around 90% of work located in Central London.
You must live within 1 hour of Central London and have strong experience in servicing, repairs, and fault finding.
What You’ll Do
*
Carry out servicing, repairs, and callouts across London.
*
Be part of a callout rota (1 week in 3, Monday 5pm – Monday 8am).
*
Work occasional overtime, including shared Saturday servicing.
What We Offer
*
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience).
*
Standby allowance: £220 per week (when on call).
*
Callout rates: £70 weekdays, £90 weekends & bank holidays.
*
Overtime rates: 1.33x weekdays, 1.5x weekends & bank holidays.
*
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
*
Company van (for business use only) – full clean licence required.
*
Company pension scheme.
*
Statutory sick pay (subject to eligibility).
*
Personal accident & illness cover.
*
All expenses covered – congestion charge, fuel, parking (handled via company phone).
*
Supplied equipment: Phone/PDA, full uniform & PPE.
About You
*
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) with minimum 7 years’ experience.
*
Strong communication skills.
*
A reliable team player.
Hours of Work
*
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm.
