The Role
You will play a key part in the service, maintenance, and repair of lift and hoist systems used across high-rise buildings and commercial sites.
This is a field-based position offering hands-on technical work, where no two days are the same - from fault-finding and inspections to installation support and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on lifts, hoists, and access systems.
Support installation and commissioning of new lifting equipment.
Work on both electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Liaise directly with clients and site teams to deliver high standards of service and minimal downtime.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Travel primarily within London, with occasional work in other regions such as Liverpool and Manchester.Requirements
Proven experience as a Lift Engineer, Service Engineer, or Access Equipment Engineer.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required.Benefits
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Company van, fuel card, and mobile phone provided
Overtime rates:
1.5x weekdays and Saturdays
2x Sundays and bank holidays
