Lighting Controls Engineer

London / South East
£42,000 to £52,000 + Vehicle + Overtime

Smart buildings rely on intelligent lighting systems, and skilled engineers are at the centre of making those systems work.

A specialist building technology integrator is looking for a Lighting Controls Engineer to join its growing technical team working across London and the South East.

This role focuses on the installation, setup and optimisation of advanced lighting control systems across commercial buildings, hospitality environments and high end residential developments.

The Role

You will work on lighting control projects from installation support through to system setup and handover.

Typical responsibilities include:

* Installing and configuring lighting control systems
* Working with platforms such as DALI, KNX, Lutron or Dynalite
* Supporting electrical contractors and project teams during installation
* Testing and optimising lighting control systems
* Fault finding and system adjustments
* Assisting with client demonstrations and project handover

Projects range from commercial offices and hospitality spaces through to high end residential and mixed use developments.

About You

You will likely come from an electrical, lighting controls or smart building background.

You may currently work for a lighting manufacturer, systems integrator, electrical contractor or smart home company.

We would expect to see:

* Hands on experience working with lighting control systems
* Knowledge of platforms such as DALI, KNX, Lutron or Dynalite
* Electrical or technical installation background
* Ability to work on site and collaborate with project teams
* Strong problem solving skills

* £42,000 to £52,000 basic salary depending on experience
