Our client in Washington is looking for an experienced Line Feeder for an ongoing temporary contract.
Job Specification:
* Deliver materials and components to designated production areas in a timely manner.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking to prevent production delays.
* Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or discrepancies.
* Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
* Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
* Document supply movements and production data using inventory software.
* Assist in setup and teardown of production equipment when needed.
Personal Specifications:
* Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
* Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
* Familiarity with inventory management systems
* Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
