Job Description
Our client, a well-established leader in the logistics market, is recruiting a Line Leader on a Temporary to Permanent basis at their Minworth depot.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets, ensuring QA and safety standards are maintained.
* Motivate and lead a team to consistently meet production goals.
* Ensure the final product meets client specifications.
* Maximise production efficiency to meet hourly and daily targets.
* Utilise the integrated management system effectively.
* Report health and safety issues promptly.
* Maintain and promote company health, safety, and quality standards.
* Complete all paperwork and systems accurately in line with company procedures.
* Ensure compliance with internal and external hygienic audits.
* Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintain clean-as-you-go standards.
* Liaise with agency controllers, providing feedback on agency workers.
* Attend team leader meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Train and develop new starters, acting as a role model for best practice.
* Monitor, control, and minimise waste.
* Conduct return-to-work and disciplinary interviews as required.
* Participate in the company appraisal system.
* Drive personal development through training and work experience.
* Undertake additional duties reasonably within the scope of the role.
