Line Leader – Food Manufacturing
📍 Location: Redditch
💰 Salary: £26,988 per year + overtime available
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 05:30 – 14:30

Take the Lead in a Fast-Paced Food Production Environment
Are you a hands-on leader with experience in food manufacturing? Do you thrive in chilled environments and enjoy motivating teams to deliver high-quality results? We’re looking for a Line Leader to manage a production line, drive performance, and uphold the highest standards in food safety and quality.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and manage a team of production operatives on your line.
Assign tasks and provide clear instructions to team members.
Monitor and uphold food safety, GMP, and health & safety standards.
Conduct weekly food safety audits and complete documentation accurately.
Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate to engineering when needed.
Motivate your team to meet production targets and maintain high standards.
Communicate delays, shortages, and equipment issues effectively.
Support new product launches and process improvements.
✅ What We’re Looking For
Experience in food manufacturing (chilled environment preferred).
Comfortable working in temperatures between 4°C and 8°C.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) to follow instructions and complete paperwork.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on role.
🚫 Important Site Rules
PPE must be worn at all times (wellingtons, hair net, beard snood).
No jewellery, fake nails, fake eyelashes, heavy makeup, or visible piercings allowed on site.
