Job Description
We are working with a leading telecommunications company based in Cambridge who are looking to a Linux/Android Platform Developer to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Development and configuration of the Android platform
* Working across the full development lifecycle of the Android product
* Managing large code bases
* Trialling and integrating open-source development tools for debugging, profiling and memory leak protection etc.
* Integration testing, investigation and resolution of issues
* Participating in project planning and technical reviews
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience in a similar role
* Good understanding of Android architecture and ecosystem
* Experience of Linux kernel
* Excellent knowledge of C++
* Experience of developing for mobile platforms
* Experience with development tools for debugging, profiling, memory leak protection etc.
