Job Description
We're looking for a talented Loading Shovel Driver to work for our client in Middlesbrough area.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.
If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience.
The Role:
As the Loading Shovel Driver you'll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.
Shifts: 12h shifts, 4 on 4 off rotating. Day shift: AM to PM, nightshift: PM to AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading outgoing vehicles and separating waste
- Transporting material, feeding lines and hoppers with material for process
- Supporting general yard operations & co-operate with site management as required.
- Emptying chutes and bunkers
The role involves operating Loading Shovel Truck to perform a various of task including tipping and loading of vehicle outside in all weather conditions. Drive loading shovel to transport materials within the facility & ensure the health & safety standards are met
Requirements:
- A current valid Loading Shovel and 360 excavator (wheeled) certificate along with previous experience is required.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A strong work ethic and 'can-do' attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- UK right to work
In addition, you'll need the following:
- Valid Excavator Loading Shovel license
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- An excellent communication, team work
- An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable)
- A flexible attitude and a team player
We are looking for someone who:
- Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
- Cares about working as part of a team
- Appreciates good rates of pay
