Locality Social Worker - Camden
London Borough of Camden are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Locality Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Locality Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Locality Social Worker responsibilities include:
Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
Liaising with other professionals
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Holding cases
Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm.
Attending multidisciplinary meetings
Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support
Minimum requirements / Experience preferred:
Post qualifying experience of working as a Locality Social Worker or within a Safeguarding Team.
HCPC Registration
3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
Eligibility to work in the UK
