Physical Disabilities = Totton, Havant & Basingstoke
Community Response Team = Remote working
Mental Health/Intermediate Care Team = Basingstoke, Andover, Totton & Havant
Older Adults = EastleighLocation: Hybrid/Remote
Umbrella Rate = £38ph
Essential Information
Flexible working hours & days.
Driver's license & access to a car is a requirement - except CRT as remote working
Social Work Degree & signed up to SWE.
2 years post degree experience in the specific type of role.
Experience in working with Adults as a Qualified Social Worker
Care Director (the system used) experience is preferred.
About the Role
Connect2Hampshire are currently recruiting for a Adults Qualified Social Workers to work in Hampshire County Council. We have 4 different types of Adults QSW work and across different areas in Hampshire as stated above.
For the majority of these roles, you will be travelling and completing visits and you will need to have an understanding of how to apply a strengths-based approach and have an understanding of social work issues, legal frameworks and social service's statutory duties. It is also important to be able to build positive and professional relationships.
What is the day-to-day of the role:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of individual's needs, strengths, and risks.
Familiarity with multi-agency working and thresholds for adult safeguarding, with a track record of making sound, evidence-based decisions in time-sensitive situations.
Committed to a strengths-based approach, working collaboratively with individuals, families, and communities to build on existing capabilities and informal support networks.
Strong understanding of physical disability services, including long-term conditions, mobility and access needs, rehabilitation, and technology-enabled care solutions.
Ability to manage complex, dual-diagnosis cases involving coexisting mental and physical health conditions, coordinating across agencies and specialisms.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-pressure locum environment, managing a complex and often reactive caseload.
Adaptable, organised, and outcome-focused, with strong prioritisation skills and a commitment to high professional standards.About Us
