Mental Health Support Worker / Support Worker
Location: Cornwall
Staff Partners are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join a specialist team supporting an individual living independently in their own home.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a consistent and established care team, providing 2:1 support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
About the Role
You will be supporting patient with:
* Autism
* Learning disabilities
* Behaviours that may challenge
The role requires a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who can deliver high-quality, person-centred care while promoting independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing 2:1 support in a home environment
* Supporting with daily living activities
* Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour
* Administering medication in line with guidelines
* Ensuring safeguarding and duty of care at all times
* Promoting independence and dignity
Shift Patterns Available
A mixture of shifts including:
* Early (E)
* Long Day (LD)
* Waking Night (WN)
* Sleep-In (SIN)
* Minimum of 90 hours available per week
* Ongoing work starting next week
* Consistency is key – we are looking to build a reliable team of regular staff
Pay & Benefits:
* £14.24 - £16ph
