Locum Veterinary Surgeon
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and professional team. Whether you’re an experienced vet or a newly qualified graduate, we offer veterinary career opportunities for every stage of your life.

As a Locum Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients, working alongside a skilled team of nurses, receptionists, and fellow vets. While there are no scheduled surgeries on weekends, we would prefer the vet to be confident in carrying out emergency surgeries if required, until the patient can be safely transferred to our out-of-hours provider or veterinary hospital.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality veterinary care and support to patients and their owners.

Carry out consultations, routine treatments, and surgical procedures.

Be comfortable performing emergency surgeries if required at weekends.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold high standards of animal welfare.
What We’re Looking For:

A qualified Locum Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration.
*
Strong clinical and communication skills.
*
Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to animal welfare.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Willingness to carry out emergency surgeries when needed.
