Our client is an industry leading organisation operating within the industrial and manufacturing sector, based in Solihull seeking a Logistics Administrator to join them on 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. They are a well-established entity focused on delivering high-quality products and services to their clients, with a commitment to excellence in logistics and supply chain management.
Description
Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics documentation
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork
Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies
Support the logistics team with data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasksProfile
A successful Logistics Administrator should have:
Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, or administrative role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Ability to prioritise workload and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of shipping processes and logistics terminology is desirable
Job Offer
Competitive salary package ranging from £25000 to £30000 depending on experience.
Work from home on Mondays and Fridays
