They are on the lookout for a proactive and driven Logistics Assistant Manager to join their Head Office team in Plymouth. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love turning data into action, this is your chance to make a real impact.
As Logistics Assistant Manager, you’ll be the right hand to the Logistics Manager, helping lead a high-performing team and streamlining operations across the business. From onboarding new talent to driving process improvements, your work will be central to keeping our logistics engine running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily logistics operations, delegate tasks, and monitor team performance
Deliver onboarding and ongoing training to build a skilled, confident team
Identify inefficiencies and help implement smarter, faster processes
Act as a communication hub between departments and stores
Manage extranet accounts and respond to internal/external queries
Maintain and distribute key promotional and locational data
Collaborate on cross-functional projects with Buying, Supply Chain, Imports, Visual Merchandising, and Data Science
Coordinate new store setups and ensure logistics readiness
Keep internal systems accurate and up to date
Use data tools to track stock levels, deliveries, and performance
Analyse KPIs and generate reports to support decision-making
What You’ll Bring
Strong Excel skills (Microsoft Office proficiency is essential)
SQL or similar programming knowledge is a plus
Business-related degree desirable but not essential (we’ll train you!)
Experience in management or data-led roles is beneficial
Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and time management skills
Calm under pressure with a keen eye for detail
