Logistics Coordinator
Location: Liverpool, L24 9BD
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Our client is looking for an experienced and organised Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Liverpool. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential to go permanent.
You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day logistics operations, including fleet coordination, driver scheduling, and service planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar logistics or transport role and be confident using Microsoft Office tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle scheduling and driver allocation
Booking and coordinating vehicle servicing and maintenance
Managing abnormal load movements
Monitoring driver hours and compliance with Working Time Directive (WTD)
Fleet administration and coordination
Planning logistics and despatch
Recording accurate operational data and supporting daily planning
Engaging with drivers and promoting a positive working environment
Adjusting plans to meet changing customer and business needsRequirements:
Proven experience in logistics, transport, or fleet coordination
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Effective communicator with a proactive, problem-solving approach
Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure
Strong attention to detail
