Job Description
Ou client in Shrewsbury, is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding team. Working hours will be, Monday-Friday, 7.30am-4.30pm.
Duties to include:
Export deliveries
* Get shipping quotes
* Contact customers to agree a delivery date
* Contact shippers to book transport
* Print notes
* Copy of paperwork to accounts with weights for all items
* Add details on to transport sheet
* Update white board with collection date
Export collections
* Once WDA received get drawing of tank from drawing office with external dimensions
* Send dimensions of tanks and ancillary items to customers
* Notify customer of collection date
* Dependent upon tank size check that hauler has correct equipment to collect tanks.
* Print paperwork and issue to loaders
* Copy of paperwork to accounts with weights for all items
Non tank orders Couriers/Pallet Network etc
* Contact customer
* Print paperwork
* Book onto system
* Add labels to parcel
* Track parcels
* Print PODs and attach to supplier delivery notes
* Mark order as complete
Delivery Updates (prior to Assembly)
* Communicate with Customer pre assembly to ensure site readiness
Storage quotes and Orders
* Prepare Storage Quotes when sites delay
* Raise orders to cover
* Alert Customers when storage period expires
Special Bookings (HS2 Datatscope etc)
* Handle Admin and online bookings
General Administrative Duties, to include the below:
Order Processing
* Receipt Of Orders from Contract Review
* Check Details and Input data on Relevant Production Sheets
Drawing Approvals
* 1st Stage Communication with Customers – Advise Leadtimes etc
Salary - £23k - £30k, depending on experienceBefore You Apply
