Logistics Coordinator – Middlesbrough
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Jackson Hogg are delighted to have partnered with a well-established organisation in the global logistics sector to recruit a Logistics Coordinator based in Middlesbrough.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in European road freight forwarding to join a dynamic team and play a key role in fast-paced operations.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Organising both groupage and full load trailer movements to and from the UK and Scandinavia
*
Negotiating rates with hauliers and arranging collections to meet sailing deadlines
*
Managing export/import documentation, customs, and insurance requirements
*
Providing accurate quotations in a timely manner
*
Building and maintaining strong customer and client relationships
*
Delivering excellent customer service, including handling queries and resolving issues
*
Ensuring compliance with trade regulations and health & safety requirements
Key Requirements:
*
Proven experience in road freight forwarding across Europe
*
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a demanding environment
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*
Customer-focused approach with the ability to build lasting relationships
*
Knowledge of customs procedures would be an advantage
