Logistics Manager — Renewable Energy
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary Up to £34,000 - £42,000
This position will report to the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and materials management within the construction or renewable energy sectors, strong coordination skills, and exceptional attention to detail to support efficient, on-time project delivery.
🔸 Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate all on-site logistics operations during the construction phase of renewable energy projects.
* Plan and manage delivery schedules of main equipment and materials to site, including solar panels, mounting structures, cables, transformers, inverters, and electrical kiosks.
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
* Liaise with local suppliers, freight forwarders, and service providers to ensure efficient logistics and compliance with project requirements.
* Verify quantity and quality of all materials received, ensuring compliance with delivery documentation and specifications.
* Oversee unloading operations and report any discrepancies or damages to the Project Manager and Project Director.
🎯 Candidate Requirements & Skills
* Minimum 1 year of experience in materials or logistics management within the construction industry.
* Experience in solar or renewable energy project logistics considered an advantage.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with logistics management software is an advantage.
