Logistics Manager - Contract
Location: Coalville
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pro rata
Hours: Monday to Friday only (no weekends)
Contract: Full-time, 3-month contract
Start: ASAP
A manufacturing company in Coalville is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join on a short-term basis. You'll be responsible for managing warehouse and transport operations, leading a team, and keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage teams across transport, loading, and materials
Oversee stock levels, delivery schedules, and supplier coordination
Control logistics costs and ensure efficient, safe operations
Maintain accurate stock records in Microsoft Dynamics 365
Enforce Health & Safety processes and documentation
Support logistics strategy and process improvements
Liaise with 3PLs and handle supplier performance
What You Need:
Proven logistics/warehouse management experience in manufacturing
Experience managing teams and external logistics providers
Confident using Microsoft Dynamics 365
Able to document and deliver process training
Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
Strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude
