The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager for one of our leading clients – a respected building services contractor operating across London and Ireland. Specialising on large-scale commercial projects, they are known for delivering high-quality work across schools, hospitals, universities, and industrial developments.
Location:
City of London
Responsibilities:
*
Oversee all site logistics operations on a large-scale construction projects
*
Manage and coordinate deliveries, waste removal, traffic and pedestrian movement on site
*
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and equipment are available as needed
*
Ensure site access is well organised and compliant with safety and security procedures
*
Monitor site welfare facilities and ensure safe access routes are maintained
*
Maintain clear and effective communication with all site personnel regarding logistics planning
*
Implement and enforce health & safety procedures related to logistics operations
*
Manage a team of logistics operatives, including traffic marshals and forklift drivers
*
Prepare logistics plans and reports to support efficient site operations
Requirements:
*
Valid CSCS Black Card
*
SMSTS or SSSTS (Site Management/Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
*
Level 3 First Aid
*
Proven experience in logistics management within the construction industry, ideally on M&E focused projects
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skillsBefore You Apply
