Job Description

Expleo is supporting a high-performance engineering client within the motorsport sector and is seeking a Logistics Operative to join a focused inventory reduction project. This role is key to improving warehouse efficiency through accurate stock identification, auditing, and controlled removal of obsolete or excess parts.

Role Overview

You will support the wider logistics team in reducing overall inventory levels by identifying, counting, and managing stock within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This includes hands-on involvement in cycle counting, stock movements, and general warehouse housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

Physically locate and identify parts as directed by the logistics team and production management
Conduct cycle counts on identified stock and verify storage locations
Record and report part quantities and location data for audit documentation
Support inventory reduction through safe and compliant removal of parts into designated waste streams
Assist with general warehouse clean-up and organisation
Reallocate stock into correct warehouse locations as directed
Carry out additional cycle counts as required by the logistics team leaderSkills & Experience

Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
Background in the automotive or motorsport sector, with basic knowledge of vehicle components
Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
Strong attention to detail - critical for success in this role
Methodical and calm approach to tasks
Clear and concise communication skills
