We're partnering with an internationally recognised organisation that develops cutting-edge scientific instrumentation and technology used by researchers, universities and industry worldwide. Their products help scientists tackle some of the world's biggest environmental and sustainability challenges, including climate research, food security and ecosystem monitoring. 

Due to continued growth, they're looking for an Logistics Specialist to join their team in Bad Homburg.

The Role 
This is a varied position combining administration, logistics coordination and operational support. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of office operations while coordinating domestic and international shipments and supporting production activities. The responsibilities closely follow the employer's requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments
Organise domestic and international freight
Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time deliveries
Support inventory control and stock-taking activities
Maintain ERP master data
Prepare reports, documentation and process instructions
Coordinate internal administrative processes
Support CE and ISO documentation and audit activities
Assist with continuous improvement of logistics processes
Provide general administrative support to the wider team
About You 
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured, organised environment and takes pride in delivering excellent administrative and logistical support. 

You'll ideally have:

Completed commercial apprenticeship (ideally in logistics, freight forwarding or a related discipline)
Experience in administration, logistics or supply chain
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
ERP experience (NetSuite or similar would be advantageous)
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
A proactive and reliable approach
Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Fluent German (written and spoken)
Basic English language skills
