Logistics Supervisor
Location: Greenford
Pay Rate: £13.94 per hour
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Strive Staffing Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Logistics Supervisor to join their warehouse team.
Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the General Warehouse Manager, the Logistics Supervisor will support daily warehouse operations by supervising staff, overseeing stock control, and ensuring smooth delivery processes. This role is approximately 85% hands-on and 15% administrative, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, fast-paced environment while also maintaining accurate systems and reports.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise delivery shifts, delegating tasks and supporting the team to meet targets.
*
Check and file all delivery invoices, reporting any shortages or overages to management.
*
Manage inbound stock, ensuring accurate unloading, storage, and organisation of deliveries.
*
Oversee outbound operations including transport arrangements, third-party courier communications, and truck loading.
*
Maintain stock systems, ensuring all transfers are processed accurately and warehouse areas remain well organised.
*
Support with identifying faulty goods for write-offs and minimising stock loss.
*
Work with management and merchandising teams to monitor stock levels using company reports.
*
Assist with stocktakes and promote “handle with care” treatment of all products.
Skills & Experience Required:
*
Previous supervisory or management experience within a warehouse/logistics environment.
*
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*
Good knowledge of stock control systems and reporting.
*
Effective communicator with a proactive and hands-on approach.
*
Flexible and adaptable to changing warehouse priorities.
