Salary: £28,392 + £150 monthly Supervisor Allowance
Hours: 39 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:00 | Friday, 08:00 – 15:00

Are you a hands-on logistics professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting a Logistics Team Leader (Days) for a well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in West Bromwich.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse or logistics experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for leading teams. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations — from picking and packing to dispatch — while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the daily operations of the warehouse team
Plan and allocate workloads to meet KPIs and customer deadlines
Drive quality, safety, and productivity standards across all tasks
Monitor attendance, complete return-to-work interviews, and address performance concerns
Identify training needs and support team development initiatives
Collaborate with other departments during peak periods and absences
Deliver daily team briefings and communicate key performance metrics
Champion lean principles, 5S, and other continuous improvement tools
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the warehouse is clean and well-organised
Comply with all Health & Safety procedures, hazard reporting, and risk assessments
Operate Reach Truck FLT safely (valid licence required)
✅ What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a Team Leader/Supervisor role within logistics, distribution, or manufacturing
Confident in managing and motivating teams in a warehouse environment
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
A proactive, problem-solving attitude
Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in logistics settings
Experience with lean tools and continuous improvement practices (desirable)
Valid Reach Truck FLT licence is essential
