Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are working with a Manufacture to recruit for Logistics Team Leaders
Location: Staffordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with additional overtime available)
Pay: £16.32 per hour + Quarterly Bonus Scheme
My client is growing – and looking for three experienced and motivated Team Leaders to take ownership of the loading and unloading of the logistics. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’ll make a real impact on production, quality, and team development.
Areas of Responsibility:
Leadership opportunities leading the below department
* Logistics/Warehousing
You will report directly to the Works Supervisor and play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations while continuing to contribute hands-on in your trade area.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead and support team members in your area to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
* Allocate and instruct work effectively to meet schedules and priorities
* Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and staff attendance
* Provide on-the-job training to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and correctly
* Maintain a safe, clean, and health-risk-free work environment
* Identify unsafe practices or conditions and take action immediately
* Recommend training needs and re-grading opportunities for team members
* Help coordinate workflows across departments and allocate resources effectively
* Work as part of the team with loading and unloading to keep to schedules

* Proven experience in a hands-on in a logistics role
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide others
* A proactive attitude toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions under pressure
