Logistics Technician
Chroma are proud to be partnered with a highly reputable engineering and manufacturing business as they embark on this exciting growth journey. As part of this, we’re looking for a new Logistics Technician to join their new site in Birmingham.
The role of Logistics Technician is to lead the inbound and outbound logistics activities of a new and expanding manufacturing operation. Key duties include managing goods in and out, checking for non-conformances, preparing items in readiness for assembly line delivery, transportation and distribution management, utilising the WMS (Warehouse Management System), conducting stock takes etc. There is also ample opportunity to influence the company’s logistics and technology strategy whilst driving continuous improvement in the department.

Logistics Technician requirements:
Must have a heavy-duty or container forklift license (ideally RTITB or ITSSAR) (or similar)
HNC/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management (or similar)
Strong experience in a similar position
WMS experience
Food, White/Yellow goods, HVAC industry experience (or similar)
