LSA / Behaviour Support – SEN (KS1 & KS2)
Location: Colchester
Salary: £85 - £130 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Full-time
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? Our partner SEN school in Colchester is looking for a compassionate and resilient LSA / Behaviour Support to work across KS1 and KS2, supporting students with a range of needs particularly those facing behavioural challenges.
This full-time position is available for an immediate start and offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the educational journey of children who require tailored behavioural and academic support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, particularly those facing behavioural challenges
Assist in managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive choices through de-escalation strategies and emotional regulation techniques
Support the class teacher in delivering differentiated activities and managing classroom routines
Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment to support each pupil's emotional and social development
