Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Stoke-on-Trent
Full-Time | Temp to Perm | Must Have Access to Own Vehicle
Are you a passionate and resilient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) looking to make a meaningful difference in children's lives? A supportive school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a dedicated LSA to join their team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.
Key Details:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Temp to Perm opportunity
Must have access to your own vehicle for travel
Immediate start available
The Role:
As an LSA, you will be working closely with children who have:
Autism (ASC)
Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
Behavioural challenges
Trauma and attachment difficulties
You will support their learning and emotional wellbeing both in and out of the classroom. This role is physically demanding, requiring patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children with additional needs (preferred)
Must be physically fit and confident managing behaviour
Knowledge of trauma-informed and attachment-aware approaches
Empathetic, flexible, and committed to helping pupils thrive
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
