Learning Support Assistant
Location: Knowsley
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £100 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent placement)
Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in the Knowsley area from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
About the Role:
Support students with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis
Promote and encourage academic progress and engagement
Work under the guidance of the SENCO and wider inclusion team
Help implement tailored strategies and interventions
Full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to go permanent in the futureCandidate Requirements:
Experience working with young people or a keen interest in education
A relevant degree or TA qualification is desirable
Passion for supporting students with additional needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and respond to guidanceWhat's on Offer:
Daily rate: £100 - £115, depending on experience
