Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Special Needs
Location: Liverpool
Pay: GBP105GBP115 per day
Job Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP
DBS Required (Enhanced)
We are seeking committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a number of inclusive and supportive schools across Liverpool, working with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in helping pupils reach their full potential in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties
Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and lesson delivery
Support pupils in both academic and personal development
Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Two professional references
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting learners
