TeacherActive is always looking to connect with Lunchtime Supervisors across the BS16 area, including Downend, Fishponds, Staple Hill, and Emersons Green, for part-time, term-time work. Whether you’re looking for a few hours a day or to build experience in a school setting, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in pupils’ day-to-day school experience.
About the Role:
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you’ll be part of a supportive school team helping to create a calm and enjoyable lunchtime for pupils. The role includes:
Supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground during lunch breaks
Encouraging positive play, cooperation, and inclusion
Assisting with basic first aid (training can be provided)
Helping ensure a safe and secure environment for all children
Promoting good manners, respect, and kindness across the school community
This position suits someone friendly, dependable, and confident engaging with children aged 4–11.
What We’re Looking For:
A caring and responsible attitude towards children
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliability and commitment to school safeguarding standards
Experience working with children (preferred but not essential)
An Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply)
